Daily Prompt: The Excitement Never Ends.
I am so excited today. One of my friend’s gave me an amazing present – A Feast for Crows by George R. R. Martin on AUDIOBOOK!
I just adore audiobooks. I listened to A Game of Thrones on audiobook from the library but they didn’t get the rest of the series. As the whole series is ridiculously expensive I haven’t been able to justify buying any of them myself. Friends can be so wonderful!
Happy listening everyone!
Daily Prompt: Procrastination.
Procrastination is the word of the week.
I really need to write and upload reviews for:
Once by Morris Gleitzman audiobook
These Broken Stars ARC
I also should try to get my To Be Read list into some type or order. I’m finding it really difficult to get all my ebooks in order especially since I have books in several different apps.
How do you organise your TBR lists?
Most of all, I really need to do my tax return!
Today’s Daily Prompt was Origin Story, so I thought I would give it a go.
Fictitious1 was established this month so that I had somewhere to organise and post my fiction reviews separate from the reviews I do for work.
Fictitious1 is also somewhere where I can connect with other readers and bloggers on a social level rather than professionally.
I’ve been on leave from work since December and I have really missed talking about books and reading. I tried to find a local book club but they were all aimed at my grandmother not for my tastes. One night it hit me – online! I haven’t read a print book all year. Almost everything I do these days is on my iPad, so I joined a few online book clubs and groups.
Fictitious1 was started so that I can have this dialogue about books and reading where I can openly and honestly express my opinions. Something that isn’t always possible when your digests are related to your employment.
Please share links to your blogs if you think they might interest me. Share your ideas and comments. Suggestions are always welcome. Let me know what your reviews are of the novels I have read. I love to hear about why others love books I hate and vice-versa – so please share.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Happy Reading 🙂
