The Raven Boys by Maggie Stiefvater

The Raven Boys (The Raven Cycle, #1)The Raven Boys by Maggie Stiefvater
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

The Raven Boys stars an eclectic bunch of characters. Gansey has a real Gatsby feel about him – he is larger than life (at times) and handles his following with flourish. Blue is a physic amplifier who is doomed to kill her true love if she kisses him. The other Raven boys have their secret sides and quirks which begin to reveal themselves.
I knew very little about the concept of ley lines before reading the novel but it is an interesting premise for the novel. I’m really looking forward to the lease of the second in the series, The Dream Thieves, this year.
